As a founding member and former president of the Hawai‘i Association for Justice, Mr. Parsons has not only helped those affected in the personal injury space, but he has also become an advocate for injury prevention and safety in the state. With this dedication to public education efforts, Mr. Parsons’ commitment to safety reflects his concern for the well-being of those in his community. Through his efforts, he has helped educate the public, elected officials, and educators on the best measures to prevent injuries, which has created a safer environment for all.
Mr. Parsons’ affiliation with the American Association for Justice (AAJ) spans over four decades. During that time, he has emerged as an outstanding example of professionalism in the field.
His generosity, sincerity, kindness, and selflessness have made him a role model for his peers, making him an excellent example of the AAJ and its mission. Mr. Parsons also knows the key role that AAJ’s advocacy plays in achieving justice for all clients. For that reason, after each successful case, he has donated to the AAJ Evergreen Fund, which strives to protect attorneys’ practices and clients’ rights in the civil justice space. His contributions to the AAJ are a source of pride for the organization and its members.
Beyond financial contributions, Mr. Parsons has focused on his work on the Trial Lawyers Care Committee and the Public Education Committee. The Care Committee focuses on giving back to the community through volunteer work and charitable contributions. At the same time, the Public Education Committee helps to raise public awareness about the necessary role trial lawyers play inside and outside the courtroom.
